This is a pedagogical guide seeking to strengthen the construction of identity in the classroom drawing from ancestry and collective memory. Inspired by the ethno-education of the Afro-descendant people who inhabit Esmeraldas, the toolkit integrates stories, dynamics, recipes, music, and community methodologies to offer students a learning space that honours their roots, values their present and inspires them to project themselves towards an Afrofuturistic future.

While the English version of the toolkit is forthcoming, you can already read and feel inspired by six fairy tales created as part of the toolkit and the RECLAMA project.
