Art works

Participants of the RECLAMA project also produced a range of artworks to reflect and represent their heritage. This artwork includes postcards with photos taking during (and about) the RECLAMA project, as well as recipes. There are also works of art showcasing hairstyles, braiding and turbans, as well as a map of Esmeraldas featuring different African prints for each canton. This artwork was showcased in Esmeraldas and Quito, Ecuador, and selected reproductions were shown in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom.
