In the webinar we showed the short film 'Beauty: Memory's Art' and under the lead of the Mujeres de Asfalto collective, we reflected on the work done and the narratives built in the RECLAMA Project: the workshops, the possible debates, the rhythms of the training, the selected written materials, the proposed activities, the vocabulary used and the speaking. In doing so, we brought together various interested organizations and individuals with the aim of generating a space for international dialogue on the Afro-descendant and anti-racist agenda, discussing the power of non-traditional narratives of decolonial research and facilitating an exchange of experiences and recommendations on the challenges to do creative and feminist work in these spaces.

To guide this discussion, we focused on the following questions:
What are the next steps and priorities to amplify the voices of Afro-descendant women in Latin America and beyond?
What should we keep in mind as we navigate the complex work of linking activist and academic work?
How does creative work contribute to strengthening decolonial representations of Afro-descendant women and anti-racist work?
These questions were discussed with Claudia Miranda, a professor at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro and Katherine Mosquera from Matamba Revista.
